Keeping An Eye On Your Tires

Although your tires are supposed to keep you safe on the road in Oakland, there are times when issues arise that result in a flat tire or the loss of one. Fortunately, there are a few things that you can do to help prevent a tire blowout.

One way to prevent a tire blowout is to check the pressure in your tires about once a month. You don't want it to get too high because the pressure can continue to build, especially in warmer temperatures. It shouldn't be too low because the tires have to work harder than if they had the proper amount of air in them.

Rotate or replace your tires on a regular basis. Consider rotating with each oil change so that you don't forget. If you notice any issues with your tires, replace them as soon as possible instead of driving on them. Honda of Oakland can replace your tires so that they are safe to drive on if you don't know how to change one.
