Friendly and helpful

I have been going to Oakland Honda for 15 years, even making the trip at times when I lived in other parts of the Bay. Like yes, I crossed Bay Area bridges to select their service, specifically. Those of you who live here know: that's dedication! The Oakland dealership is where I bought my Honda Fit. They take care with my car, and they treat me well as part of a family. They remain true to the Oakland ethos of building community. They build trust to encourage your loyalty over the long term, rather than trying to squeeze every penny out of you in the short term. And the philosophy works because that is where I will go for my next car! My only complaint is they never brought back the freshly baked cookies and fresh popcorn that they always had in the guest lounge in BC (before covid) times. The cookies were the highlight of every oil change. Now they have chemically laden muffins in plastic wrappers. Ew, won't touch those things. I mean, I understand the wrappers with our heightened hygiene awareness post-pandemic. But maybe make a deal with a local bakery, and wrap in eco paper? They do have a fancy machine with free coffee drinks in the lounge now, though! :)
