Julie Nguyen was extremely professional and super nice to deal with. She answered all her questions and provided great service. As well, Adam, our sales person was very courteous and kind and worked hard to make a fair deal. We are pleased with the service from both of these fine people.

I purchased an extended service warranty when I bought the car so I’ve used Honda Oakland exclusively for 8 years. Never had any issues with their work. They replaced two batteries under warranty no hassles. Sometimes in the past the wait times were half a day for an oil change creating a lot of afternoon downtime for me but most recently it was about two hours without an appointment so that’s to be expected and quite an improvement. The operation appears clean and efficient. I’m a satisfied customer.

I recently bought a used Honda Pilot from here and had a great experience! I worked with Brian who was great about not pressuring me into anything and answered all my questions while I inspected and test drove the car. I had asked to do a pre purchase inspection before buying the car, but they instead asked me to buy the car and pay $150 for a "cool-down period" where I could return the car for all my money back in two days if I didn't like it or the pre-purchase inspection turned something up. I agreed without realizing that there was also a $500 restocking fee if I wanted to the return the car later. I didn't really appreciate that, but when it became clear after the pre-purchase inspection that the AC didn't work, I contacted Honda of Oakland, and they immediately were willing to diagnose the issue for me for no charge (normally almost a $300 service), they also fixed the problem (replaced the compressor) at no charge! AC is normally a money pit to fix! Additionally, I was very impressed with the service department. My service advisor (Hong Nong) gave me a very clear explanation of what might be wrong, how they would try to diagnose/fix it, and what the timeline would be. He was also flexible with me when I ran into traffic and showed up shortly after their closing time to pick up my car. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend buying a car here.

Staff was very helpful, and fast to start my service. Even though it took about 3 hours, it didn't feel like it. Nice waiting area for customers. I got caught up with watching the Dog Whisper and even had lunch waiting. When my car was ready, a staff member drove my car to me as I was waiting in the front. Great Service

This was my first time visiting honda of Oakland. Right from the guy who picked up the phone and answered, to the guy in service, John, who helped me, everyone was extremely nice and courteous.. The driver, I cannot remember his name, he was very personable as well. One of the best Service experience I had in a long time.

I’ve been bringing my Honda (two vehicles) to the Honda of Oakland service department for over a decade and ongoing. Service (while slightly higher in cost comparatively speaking to standalone mechanics and other service centers) is swift and I can be ensured work is done to Honda’s specifications which keeps my vehicle running properly on the roads, keeping me and my family safe. Customer service is average and you’ll be fortunate to work with the same advisor over a long period of time. Nonetheless, I feel my service needs are taken care of with zero upsell on service each time I bring my vehicle for scheduled maintenance. I’ll continue to use Honda of Oakland until it no longer meets my needs and quality of service. My past two advisors over the last 3-4 service visits have been honest, helpful, and professional.

Scheduled my appointment and received quick service, even quicker than I was quoted at the beginning. Glad to have gotten my service complete and still had a bit of my Saturday left to enjoy.
