This week a series of unforseen events has had me come into the Honda Service Center more than I want to. I am use to the friendly staff I have come to know from intervals of my six month oil changes; however, Victor Martinez at Honda of Oakland's newer friendly face does not just fit right in but has added to staff with an energy and charisma that you didn't realize you needed, almost like when a baby is born into a family that hasn't had any excitement for years. No disrespect, but when your coming in for your car to get serviced three days in a row for things unrelated and your like, on the bright side... "hey Victor what's good?" You understand how much hospitality, honesty and charisma and great customer service go a long way! I wrote this review to say that people are not replaceable. The staff at Honda of Oakland are already top notch and they have certainly taught the newbie well. We are in an age where financial uncertainly is common and I need for whom ever has the ability to make decisions to know that your staff's stability and respect from Honda corporate should remain in tact to allow them to continue to support their families and loved ones. I took my Honda Fit in for service today and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, all of the staff were warm, professional, and knowledgeable — clearly a team that takes pride in excellent service. Porters gave clear instructions upon drop off, no confusion on where to go. John J. was my advisor, offered to get me a ride to work, and delivered my vehicle on time as promised. Rodrigo, who was my driver today, is very kind and a great conversationalist! The coffee machine was a nice bonus for my morning drop off :) Thank you for the excellent service!
