I recently bought a used Honda Pilot from here and had a great experience! I worked with Brian who was great about not pressuring me into anything and answered all my questions while I inspected and test drove the car. I had asked to do a pre purchase inspection before buying the car, but they instead asked me to buy the car and pay $150 for a "cool-down period" where I could return the car for all my money back in two days if I didn't like it or the pre-purchase inspection turned something up. I agreed without realizing that there was also a $500 restocking fee if I wanted to the return the car later. I didn't really appreciate that, but when it became clear after the pre-purchase inspection that the AC didn't work, I contacted Honda of Oakland, and they immediately were willing to diagnose the issue for me for no charge (normally almost a $300 service), they also fixed the problem (replaced the compressor) at no charge! AC is normally a money pit to fix! Additionally, I was very impressed with the service department. My service advisor (Hong Nong) gave me a very clear explanation of what might be wrong, how they would try to diagnose/fix it, and what the timeline would be. He was also flexible with me when I ran into traffic and showed up shortly after their closing time to pick up my car. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend buying a car here.
